Exchange Password

Our exchange account security has been enhanced.

automatic account lockout

If a user mistype his password more than 5 times in 30 minutes, his account will be locked. it unlocked itself after 30 minutes. it can be unlocked manually by the administrator in the EX10 manager. The administrator simply has to uncheck the "locked" checkbox of the user, in the users section of EX10 manager.

Password complexity increase

Passwords must now have at least 8 characters. They also has to contain characters from three of the following four categories :

- Uppercase characters (A through Z)

- Lowercase characters (a through z)

- Base 10 digits (0 through 9)

- Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)
