For certificates of type DV "Quick SSL" ou "Instant SSL"no additional documentation is required. For this type of certificate validation is only at the level of the field with a validation email.

For certificates with identity validation

For the type OV certificates "True BusinessID" ou "True BusinessID SAN". These certificates requires more time for validation because requires validation of the identity of the person or organization require the certificate.

This validation passes by 4 steps :
