Microsoft Lync 2010[1] Attendee is a conferencing client that allows users without Microsoft Lync 2010 to participate in online meetings.

The use of the Lync attendee[2] client requires that traffic to ports 5060 and 5061 is not filtered (by a firewall ).

If the connection is impossible, use of Lync Web App[3] is possible, but not only provide an optimal user experience.
